Every dog has the ability to learn how to play a scentwork game, whether it is to build confidence, to earn titles in any of the registries, to hunt deer sheds, or to just have fun - dogs can be taught to find anything!

Our puppies start learning the SNIFF! games before they leave the whelping box. As soon as they can walk, they can learn to start playing SNIFF! games.
A dog is never too old to learn this game.
Deaf dogs, blind dogs, physically challenged dogs, career-changed dogs and retired dogs
can ALL learn to SNIFF!
NO PRESSURE!
There is no pressure for dog or handler! Learn at your pace, chart your course for success and
dive in for the fun.

proven success
Since 2011 our scentwork students have earned hundreds of titles in each of the registries that offer competitive events. Some have grown to coach others and some have become event judges.

Betsy has been training scent dogs for 40 years. She is Michigan's first licensed C-WAGS scentwork judge and is an AKC scentwork judge.
working in the field
Our own dogs (Thunder Myst Retrievers) are active certified detection dogs throughout the country. Several are working in school systems while others are working for private agencies.
